Lifesize Champagne
(Champagne Grandeur Nature)

Counting on the family vineyard tradition

and a great know-how, Jean-Noël and Sébastien Haton
produce brilliant examples of soft,
elegant and flavoured champagnes,
which are regularly approved by critics
from specializing wine-guides.

These two men belong to Damery’s top wine-growers.(…)

Fleurus Vins 2003

A light yellow colour with silver reflections and fine bubbles.
A smell mixing mature fruit aromas (grape)

with flower and vanilla touches.
A full taste revealing strongly, then giving fine & elegant bubbles.
This very nice champagne is made from 60% of Chardonnay

and 40% of Pinot noir issued from grounds rated first growth.
Aged on wooden boards for a long period,

it is distinguished by its elegance and fine bubbles.

Guide Hachette

Running the business created in 1928,

Jean-Noël Haton owns a 13 hectar-wine-estate.
The 75% blend of black grape varieties,

including 50% of Pinot Meunier, with Chardonnay
has produced this rosé champagne slighly evoking red currants,
both round and fresh.
Its fine and persistant bubbles with a pink background

will look really nice in apéritif glasses. (2004 Issue)

A big village, Damery has a very nice church

that can be seen on the southern slopes covered with vines
of the Montagne de Reims.
This champagne house, founded in 1928, runs a 13 ha-wine-estate.
The Cuvée Prestige, made with half black, half white grapes,

offers a complex bouquet, with honey and citrus fruits hints
for a charming champagne.
The Cuvée Prestige millésimée 96 gets two Stars.
produced with more white grapes (60%),

it is vivid, ample and quite long in the mouth
Serve rosé, with grilled gambas.
It gets one Star. (2003 Issue)
